We use well trained, gentle horses that will provide a safe ride for new riders. Confidence and riding ability soon increase as campers develop a love and relationship with the special horse they have been given for the day. We try to maintain a low camper-to-instructor ratio so each camper can get as much individual instruction as possible. Riding groups are kept small and staff make every effort to place each camper in a group that matches their riding skill and age. Fast bonds and friendships form as campers get to know the others in their group.
